Hi, I'm Gundega

I believe the body is far wiser than we often give it credit for.

Long before pain appears, it begins whispering through tension, restricted movement, digestive discomfort, fatigue or emotional overwhelm. Rather than fighting these symptoms, my work is about listening to what the body is trying to communicate and creating the conditions for it to release, restore and rebalance itself.

My journey into bodywork grew naturally from years of studying regenerative health, natural hygiene and the body's remarkable capacity to heal. Alongside this path, I trained in Traditional Northern Thai Bodywork, Chi Nei Tsang, Tok Sen and Ruesi Dat Ton—ancient healing arts that continue to inspire my work today.

Over the years, I have worked with people experiencing chronic muscular tension, digestive discomfort, stress, burnout, reduced mobility and long-held emotional patterns. Every person arrives with a unique story, which is why no two sessions are ever the same.

Rather than following a fixed routine, I intuitively combine different therapeutic techniques according to what your body needs in that moment. Sometimes the work is deeply relaxing. Sometimes it is profound and transformative. My intention is always the same: to help your body soften, restore natural movement, calm the nervous system and reconnect with its own innate intelligence.

For me, bodywork is never simply about muscles.

It is about creating a safe space where the body can finally let go.

Because when the body feels safe, healing becomes possible.

Today I experienced my first session with Gundega, and I'm so happy.I finally did it. With gentle depth, knowledge and experience, she truly felt like a guardian angel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Bodywork is for you, if you...

  • carry stress on your shoulders
  • wake up feeling stiff
  • suffer from lower back discomfort
  • feel emotionally overwhelmed
  • have difficulty relaxing
  • feel disconnected from your body
  • experience digestive tension or bloating
  • struggle with stress or burnout
  • simply long to feel lighter again

Pain rarely begins where we feel it...

It is often the final message after the body has been whispering for a long time.

Thank you, Gundega, for the profound abdominal therapy. It wasn't a relaxing massage, it was powerful, deep and exactly what my body needed. Some areas were intense and tender, yet afterwards I didn't feel exhausted as I expected. I felt reborn. Full of energy, lighter, more open, with a joyful heart and a clear mind. My body feels freer, my tension has eased, and it's as though everything has started moving again. Even three days later, I still feel wonderful. Thank you for everything you do and for the knowledge you share.

The techniques are simply my tools

Your body is the guide

The Techniques I Use

Each body tells a different story

Rather than following a routine, my expertise is to draw from several traditional healing arts, combining them according to what your body needs in the present moment.

Traditional Thai Bodywork

(Nuad Bo Rarn)

Traditional Thai Bodywork is an ancient healing art that combines rhythmic acupressure, assisted stretching, joint mobilization and work along the body's Sen Sib energy lines "winds".

Performed fully clothed on a comfortable floor futton mat, it encourages greater mobility, releases muscular tension and helps restore natural movement throughout the body.

Many people leave feeling lighter, taller, more flexible and deeply relaxed.

Chi Nei Tsang Inspired Abdominal Therapy

Inspired by the ancient Taoist healing tradition of Chi Nei Tsang, this profound abdominal therapy focuses on restoring balance to the body's centre.

According to the traditional lineage, Chi Nei Tsang was practised by Taoist monks of the White Cloud tradition in China as part of a holistic path of cultivating health, longevity and inner harmony. The practice combines mindful touch, breathwork, healing sounds and awareness to support both physical and energetic wellbeing.

In my sessions, I integrate gentle abdominal bodywork with guided breathing, Taoist healing sounds and organ reflexology. Working with the abdomen, diaphragm and reflex points of each internal organ helps release physical tension, improve breathing and encourage healthy movement throughout the body.

The abdomen is often a place where we unconsciously hold stress and long-standing emotional patterns, even from childhood. As the tissues soften, many people experience a sense of emotional release, spaciousness and relief. Every experience is unique and unfolds naturally.

Because this therapy works deeply with the abdominal fascia and internal tissues, some areas may feel tender or intense—particularly where chronic tension has accumulated. I always work within your comfort level, allowing the body to open gradually. Although the process can sometimes be challenging, clients often leave feeling lighter, freer and deeply relieved.

Tok Sen

Ancient Northern Thai Vibration Therapy

Tok Sen is one of the oldest healing traditions from Northern Thailand.

Using handcrafted wooden tools, gentle rhythmic vibrations travel deep into the muscles and connective tissues, reaching areas that hands alone often cannot. Combined with Traditional Thai Bodywork, Tok Sen helps soften chronic muscular tension, improve mobility and bring the nervous system into a deeply relaxed, meditative state.

In most sessions, Tok Sen is used as a complementary technique, integrated whenever it best supports your body. Rather than following a fixed protocol, I use it intuitively alongside Traditional Thai Bodywork, stretching and other therapeutic techniques.

For those wishing to experience this unique practice more deeply, a dedicated Tok Sen session can also be booked.

Ruesi Dat Ton

Ancient Thai healing principles of breath, movement and stretching that inspire my work with posture, mobility and body awareness.

Therapeutic Oil Bodywork

My oil bodywork is a fusion of flowing Lomi Lomi-inspired movements and focused work on tender points, myofascial restrictions and areas of accumulated tension.

Like water moving around stones, the treatment alternates between long, nurturing strokes that calm the nervous system and slower, more precise techniques that invite deeply held tissues to soften and release.

This combination creates a unique rhythm—sometimes gentle and flowing, sometimes still and intentional—allowing both relaxation and therapeutic release within the same session.

Depending on your body's needs, I may also integrate neurolymphatic stimulation, gentle joint mobilization and other bodywork techniques to support circulation, mobility and overall wellbeing.

"My abdominal therapy was subtle, profound, sensitive and incredibly authentic. It felt like a journey of deep self-discovery. During this work there is nowhere to hide—every sensation feels honest and precise. It is a deeply healing process that unfolds when you allow yourself to trust and surrender. I left in the deeply relaxed, energised state I had been searching for. Truly grateful."

Before Your Session

How to Prepare

Preparing well allows your body to receive the greatest benefit from your session.

Wear comfortable natural fibre clothing

For Traditional Thai Bodywork, please wear loose, comfortable clothing made from natural fibres such as cotton or linen. Pyjama-style clothing or comfortable yoga wear is ideal, as the session includes assisted stretching and movement.

Bring a large bath towel

Please bring your own large bath towel to place over the treatment mat or massage table.

Eat lightly

Avoid heavy meals for at least 2–3 hours before your session.

If possible, choose light, nourishing foods such as fresh fruit or a simple plant-based raw vegan meal.

Stay hydrated

Drink plenty of water before and after your session. Freshly pressed juices or fruit are an excellent way to support hydration and nourish the body. Many clients also enjoy warm water with fresh lemon and ginger to encourage relaxation and gentle integration after the treatment.

Allow yourself time afterwards

Whenever possible, avoid rushing back into work or stressful activities immediately after your session.

Give your body time to integrate the experience through rest, gentle walking or simply enjoying a slower pace.
